Mad Fish
Western Australia $7/$28
The nose is full of dark cherry fruits with the spicy, peppery hints. Aromatic
tones of ripe berries and an almost chocolaty character. The oak is restrained
and cedar like in quality. A rich palate exudes ripe cherry flavor. Finishes
peppery yet smooth.
Rocky Gully
Frankland River, Australia $7/$28

palate that focuses on refined texture & bright flavors of plum & lime,
with a long, lingering finish. 88 points Wine Spectator
Layer Cake
Barossa Valley, South Australia $38
Be prepared to be blown away by this dark, dense & inky textbook-style
Shiraz, with abundant dark fruit without being overtly lush. Intense mocha
undertones accentuate a weighty mid-palate & gorgeous mouthfeel, yet
the wine is shockingly light on its feet & finishes clean & pure.
Foppiano Petite Sirah
Russian River Valley, CA. $42
The 2004 Petite Sirah was made entirely from estate Petite Sirah grapes.
It is full-bodied and deeply colored. In the nose the Petite offers black
fruit aromas, which are well met on the palate with black and blueberry
flavors, as well as toasty vanilla, exotic spices, and hints of cocoa on
the finish.
Klinker Brick
Lodi, CA. Farrah Syrah $45

vanilla & hints of orange peel. With rich flavors of cassis, dried cherries & chocolate
on the palate & the grip of tannins on the finish.
